It's not going to be Hawk's Bluff. That development is in the middle of nowhere, way overpriced, and sold to out-of-state residents that don't know any better.
Try contacting a real estate agent in Chattanooga. There are beautiful properties all over there.

I drove up Baker Mountain Road in Van Buren County this afternoon for a birthday celebration in the tiny mountain top town of Spencer the county seat and on my way I cut off Baker Mountain Road and drove into Hawk's Bluff. I did not meet the first vehicle in my Bluff drive. You talk about peaceful and secluded. I snapped these photos from car while driving by.
One is of the entrance sign. Another of a house already built and another is of a log house being constructed.

I think out of state person who bought in Hawks Bluff are the smart ones. Nice area and very secluded. There is store less then 10 min away. So people who don't know the area should really not comment. I lived in an area with nothing and now there is everything and it's time to get out. Sometime less is better. I have found a rental in the area so if you want to send me a private message I can direct you the phone number. Falls Creek falls also has some rentals, not sure on the price.

I am in-state and know the area. Why is it that you are all trying to rent out these places?
Less is not more when it takes 40 minutes to get to the nearest hospital.
I think these places will turn out to be vacation places and this forum is not a rental agency.

I hope it does not turn into a vacation place. There is alot of people living in this area now. I love to go to fall creek falls state park. Love to golf and hike and find it a nice quiet place. It is just hard finding places around there to stay. You are right about the hospital it is about 40 minutes that is a disadvantage. Shopping is not that bad about 20 minutes away.

If you want to go to the hospital in Cookeville it is 40 min, if you purchased property in Bledsoe, it is 10 min to Pikeville, the hospital in Mcminnville is approx 20-25 min. Lets get the facts correct. If you live Knoxville why are you worrying on what is going on in Van Buren.
