Red face Romantic Getaways?

I live in Franklin, TN right now, and I'm starting to put some money aside for a vacation for two. I want to spend a nice, two day vacation alone with him, somewhere relatively close, but I'm stuck at where to begin. I was hoping that someone with more experience might be able to help me plan. See, we've been together for a while, but we never really did typical dating things.s So I'm hoping to make this a nice, romantic vacation. Filled with, you know, couple stuff.

I'm thinking that Chattanooga might be a nice place to go, since I know there are a lot of things to do there, and it's a very lovely place. While I want to have a romantic getaway, I want it to be fun, and I'm thinking that it'd be nice to walk through the aquarium together, and maybe go up to Rock City. We both like nature, and animals, so I think this'd be fun for us. But after that, I'm kinda stuck. When it comes to dining, hotels, and relaxing activities, I don't have the faintest idea where to begin looking. The vacation will probably be in mid-July to early-September, on a Tuesday and Wednesday, so if anyone knows of an event that will be going on, especially one that involves music, that'd be great.

As for dining, we both like Asian cuisine a lot, but if the atmosphere is right, we'll eat anything. Again, musical entertainment would be great. I'm just hoping that someone more familiar with the Chattanooga area would be able to help me find a nice place to eat, one that's a little off the beaten path... Ahh, although, I should warn you that I'm not 21 yet, so bars, or places that require an ID, won't work.

If anyone has suggestions for things we could do, or places we could eat, I'd really appreciate it. This is the first time I've ever planned a trip, mostly by myself, so I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed.
