This is going to vary so much statewide I'm not sure an answer will be meaningful unless tied to location. The metros are probably similar to the rest of the country, especially considering that's where a huge chunk of the people there came from.

It's different in the sticks. I built my house. I will never sell it. The land has been in my family since the first deeds were cut in the 1700's. Something like 20-25% of my relatives are living in the houses they were born in.
