Thumbs up re:Unicoi

Hi there,

We live in the Greystone area of Greene County. Greeneville is the town here. It's very nice and we enjoy this area emmencely. We moved here from Colorado and the people here are so very friendly. Nice schools, as we have custody of our 9 year old grandson.

Have you checked Greeneville out?

Thanks so much for responding. I really appreciate it.

Do you have horse stables? I love horses.

I guess I'm not a good writer, I posted a few days ago asking about the Kingsport area but no responses.

Are there any theatres where you can go to plays around there? How far to the Airport and Johnson City?

Thanks again

Default re:Unicoi

Hi there,

Yes, I have riding stables here and all the proceeds go to our horse rescue. You can check us out at link removed (advertisement) . You must come and visit our rescue when you get into the area. We love getting visitors!

The Kingsport area is nice, but crowded, and higher priced, along with higher crime rate...here in Greeneville, it's about 35-40 min. from Johnson City and about an hour to Kingsport and 45 min to the airport. I go to Kingsport all the time (once a month) to the sale barn where I rescue horses from going to slaughter. It's very congested, if you like big cities (which I hate) then you've choosen the right spot. I'm sure there are theaters there, although I haven't check them out, even though I love going to plays...we have a theater here for plays that my grandson & I have gone to. It's in the older part of Greeneville on Main St.

If you have a camper you are more than welcome to camp on our property, we offer camping spots for campers, also.

Greeneville is more of a retirement town, althouh it's growing by the minute...it's not congested and very close to the Tri-Cities area.

When do you plan on coming this way?

You are very helpful. I was planning a trip for Labor Day Week and was checking out campgrounds in the area. I was going to use a tent and bring my German Shepherd (a rescue so I felt safe but my friend said I can use her little pull behind camper if I want. I was going to take a few weeks off from work to check out the area. How much is camping on your property? I may very well take you up on your offer. You are a special person if you do animal rescue!
