The reason Tesla makes a lot of noobie mistakes in the industry, is because they insist on learning everything the hard way. It's not by pure genius that Tesla is still around, it's by pure luck and blind investor optimism (which now appears to be drying up coincidently after they started mass volume production). Look at Tesla's stock growth this year vs previous years.

Tesla might have some good news. The SEC apparently just filed charges against Musk.

Well.. "Sued" is the proper term. There aren't criminal charges, but if everything pans out the way the SEC wants it to at the moment, Musk will be forced from the company more or less.

I saw that. The criminal charges would come from the Justice Department investigation.
Should be an interesting next few weeks.

Getting rid of Elon would be a blessing for Tesla.

Yeah, that's my thought. It seems we can say this about a goodly number of people nowadays.. If they would just shut the hell up things would go far better. Musk is certainly getting to (or past) this point.

Annnd... the SEC's dropped the boom on Musk. Fraud and barred from running any public company is what they're chasing.

The end was coming, when he was on the Joe Rogan show smoking weed with him. The stockholders were not to happy with that. Not to mention his questionable spending. He's out.

So much for the "Short burn of the century".
Looking back to Aug 11, this move sure didn't help his case https://www.cnbc.com/2018/08/11/elon...-for-sale.html

Yea, I wonder where the SEC got the idea that his taking Tesla private Tweet was intentional fraud. What an idiot.

Elon bought 72500 shares of his own stock at about $343 a share back in June. That probably didn't help his case.
