Want to know how much money they make?

Go to the following web site and type their name in the search box. Heck, type your own name, it's a great way to waste time and feel that much more demoralized when you're unemployed (as I am), are told there are tons of jobs if you just "open your eyes", and know people who work for the State, County, or City who don't do a thing but manage to collect healthy paychecks for perfecting the art of doing nothing in a cubicle.

Thanks, Evan Smith! I hate my life that much more now!

Enjoy.

Nomadic - that is an interesting site.

But please - who here says there are plenty of jobs? Most of the replies to wanna-move-to-Texas posts say "don't come here without a job."

Which is the correct advice to give. I think jobs are scarce in Austin and Texas. There ARE jobs, but there is lots of competition for them.

Go ask RenaudFR, he's the genius who told me to "open my eyes" because there were jobs EVERYWHERE! Or ask Governor Perry, who says Texas is "leading the way in job creation", or even David Dewhurst.

And then there are the countless articles, such as the following, which appear ALL OVER THE INTERNET:

For job seekers, top five cities for the next decade - CNN.com

CNN, Forbes, Kiplinger's, MSN...ALL say this place is HOPPIN' with jobs! If you ain't got one, you're just too lazy and stupid. Ain't that it?
