The OP asked "What are the cities that have a lot of single women?" he didn't say "Texas cities".

Choosing places to live based entirely on single women to men ratio, the whole East Coast and most Southern states look much more desirable than Texas.

Interestingly enough, however, he did ask the question in the TEXAS general forum and did not go to any lengths to indicate he wished to go elsewhere...

Hey Scigrad!

Do you have any interest in moving to the New York, New Jersey, Connecticut area?

I would suggest San Antonio especially if your in the military there's a big military presence in San Antonio tons of things to do good nightlife with the bars and restaurants on the Riverwalk. Also Austin is a great place for singles and not too far from Killeen.

I appreciate all your advice. I didn't expect this many posts. I've lived in Virginia (near DC) for a few months before, and I've been thinking about either going out there or trying a different city in Texas. Honestly, I've never really thought about the New York area. I do need to go to somewhere that does have a decent economy and job opportunities, amoung other considerations. Appreciate it.

What is your master's degree? Easier to give recommendations if one understands what sort of work you would be doing, since the solution will represent an interface of employment opportunity and social scene. Otherwise, as a former long-term Austinite, I would endorse Austin as a good place for young singles.
