I am planning on moving to Wichita Falls or Burk, and I am looking at some job perspectives. One of the companys is in Brownwood, so I am trying to get an idea on driving distance. Any help would be great

I think it is about a 3 hour drive from WF to Brownwood.

I'll second that. It's been a few years since I made the trip, but 3 hours sounds about right.

You can use Google Maps to easily find that kind of information. It is also good for giving you step by step instruction on what highways and how far between turns to take to travel between two locations.

Google Maps says it is 171 miles and has an average driving time of 3 hours and 14 minutes.

Brownwood, TX to Wichita Falls, TX - Google Maps

1. Type the name of the first location in the google maps window then when it locates that for you;
2. click on the little red pin and select "directions", a new window will open up on the left hand side;
3. type in the name of the second location in that new window and click on "Get Directions".
4. Goggle maps will show you a map with the route between the two locations highlighted, and provide you with the total distance and any obvious alternate routes, as well as step by step directions on how to get there.
5. You can save the map on your computer, as well as print it and the directions out to use while traveling.

Another useful feature is you can click and drag the highlighted route that is shown to a new location on the map, say for example you want to travel through Mineral Wells. Dragging the highlighted route over to it gives you a new route with a distance of 193 miles and driving time of 3 hours and 41 minutes.
