Why are we acting like the Super Bowl?

Because (just like last year against the Saints in week 15) EVERYONE was saying we'd lose.

All the trash talking we've heard from Texans fans all this week about how the Cowboys were just gonna get destroyed by the Texans and we would be making excuses after we did lose.

Well it's after the game and TEXANS fans are the ones making excuses and bringing up the record of "under .500" even though it's still early in the season.

I think we have every right to go over board with the celebrations here.

Beautifully put.

The Texan fans on here have gone overboard since this threads existance. Now it our turn. They can either shut up or roll with it.

Bottom line. Cowboys won, Texans lost. Now the Cowboys need to focus on next week.

Deal with it :-)
And the Texans are who we thought they were, second rate and not ready for primetime.

The Cowboys are to football what the Yankees are to baseball. You either love them or hate them. There is no in between. However, the Cowboys are one of the most popular sports franchises in the world (not just the US). I have seen Dallas Cowboys sports bars in Seoul, Mexico City, and Sao Paulo.

Love em or hate em, there is no denying the fame and popularity which our little football team from Dallas has.

Texans=Garbage...They had a chance to beat "THE DALLAS COWBOYS" but ended up getting peter-rolled. Houston a super bowl contender is laughable in itself. They won a couple of funky ass games and thought they where adorned to replace the Cowboys as "Americas Team". Nice to see the Cowboys put them inepts (Houston Texans) back in their place.

Man, Cowboys fans have some big heads after one win this season. Just be glad a lot of BS went your guys way this game. It was fluky at best. Andre Johnson stumbling on his route that lead to the first Schaub pick, Kareem slipping at the line of scrimmage giving away a TD, the horrible offsides call that should have been a false start (easily), the delay of game no-call (clock was at zero for at least two seconds). Texans kicked themselves in the foot also (the holding call in the red zone as an example), but it's not time to hit the panic button in Houston. We're still at the top of our division and play the Raiders next week.

From all this talk all week from Cowboys fans saying, "the Texans don't matter to us", reading posts like what kdogg817 just posted disproves that myth.

Um, you also bolded where I said the Texans kicked themselves and said we're at the top of our division and play the Raiders next week . And not sure how the missed calls by the refs are excuses. They were clear as day. Even Joe Buck and Troy Aikman had said those were the penalties until the refs said something different. Those are all factors that played into the game today.

The fact of the matter is, the Cowboys' season was on the line today, and the Cowboys played like it was. The Texans played like they were too overconfident (probably from the preseason game against the Cowboys) and they read the press clippings a little too much this week. Despite all the BS, the Texans were still in the game until Kareem slipped while covering Roy Williams and Roy had the long TD catch (after the false start wasn't called and instead was an offsides by Antonio Smith). The defense played fine until the 3rd quarter, when the Cowboys started getting confident in themselves. The Texans' offense couldn't come through.

As far as the excuses part...we lost! The Cowboys fans were doing the same thing the past two weeks, so you can go ahead and "just drop" that.

I bolded the Raiders part because you say that as if you're just gonna run through them, which is like an excuse to me.

And you're still making excuses.

lol.

Ok, seriously, I'm done. That's good for the week
