Fact of the matter is, we dont know what the rest of the season holds. The Texans may continue to falter and bust and the Cowboys may now have their groove back. Or perhaps the Texans had an off day and the Cowboys just played really well today.

We wont know for a few more weeks.
The Cowboys were playing for their season today and came in and out balled the Texans. Simple as that.

I still don't really believe that, but the bottom line is, this week the Cowboys won and the Texans lost.

Now everyone on both sides should just drop it.

Well Matt, your wait is over.

How bout them Texans?

The title of Jean-Jacques Taylor's article in the DMN says it all.

Why don't you believe that? The Cowboys were definitely playing for their season today. They weren't going to go 0-3 headed into a bye week. The Texans came out uninspired (just looking at their faces before the game started). Still, the Texans are 2-1 (and at the top of their division still) and play Oakland next week (a team they should beat). Then, Brian Cushing comes back for the Giants game. If the Texans were going to lose a game, this one was a nice one to lose (non-conference game).

Wow, Jean-Jacques Taylor is an idiot. Houston's "inferiority" continues?? How? The only part he was right on was when he said the Cowboys came out and played with a sense of urgency because they didn't want to go 0-3.

Ok, apparently you ignored that last part.

It doesn't matter..... Cowboys won.

Game's over. Week 3 is over. Period.

How did I ignore the last part? I simply asked why you thought the Cowboys didn't come out and play for their season today....because they did. They came out and simply outplayed the Texans today (who came in looking uninspired). And yes, we know Week 3 is over. I have no idea why you're acting like your team won the Super Bowl. You're still under .500.

Jeez people, the trash talk is all in fun and games. Lighten up. Cowboys are still trash and America's most hated team.

Texans 2-1
Cowboys 1-2

Deal with it :-)

I agree that talking trash is apart of the game, but many Cowboys fans are acting like they won the Super Bowl. From the radio to posts online. They have a reason to be excited though, because they aren't starting the season 0-3 and their division is wide open. Still, Texans fans shouldn't be too down on their team. The Texans are still 2-1 and at the top of their division. They lost a non-conference game and are playing the lowly Raiders next week (and the Texans will be pissed and fired up for that game).

Arian Foster is legit though. First 100-yard rusher against the Cowboys D since 2008.
