[LEFT]Foreclosure sales accounted for 11.9 percent of all residential sales in Texas in the second quarter, according to a report Thursday from RealtyTrac.
Irvine-based RealtyTrac said Texas preforeclosure sales decreased nearly 12.3 percent from the 2009 second quarter and were down 0.9 percent from the first quarter of 2010. The Lone Star State saw 11,115 homes sell while in some stage of foreclosure for an average price of $142,069, or at a 25.6 percent discount.
Throughout the nation, foreclosure homes accounted for 24 percent of all residential sales....
