Hello everyone, I'm moving to Waco on the 6th of Nov. I really need to know which electric company I should use. I see complaints from different companies, but I need to know which one is best. I'm living in a one bedroom apartment all by myself, if that helps. Thanks so much in advance!

Get a list of the phone numbers of all of them, and start calling. The first one where you can speak to a live human being within 60 seconds, go with them.

The Texas PUC provides this information...

...the official Electric Choice Website of the Public Utility Commission of Texas. Here you can learn about electric competition in Texas and shop for electricity providers.

You're looking for how much you are going to pay per kWh - kilowatt hours. Some may charge a deposit, some may require a contract, some may have additional fees. The cents/per you will see are for the first 1000 hours. In the summer you will hit that easily, after which some will be variable and the rate may go up a penny or two per hour. The same condition may apply for winter if you're all electric.

Once you have the power on you should be able to visit the Texas SmartMeter website where you can monitor your daily use.

Since most of the companies listed are really just re-selling someone else's (usually TXU) production, you'll want to take heed of jtur88's admonition to go with the one that answers the phone.
