If you live in Flower Mound, of course your town is best for low commute. Then Lewisville, Double Oak, Lantana or Highland Village b/c you would be going against traffic if you worked typical daytime hours. If you worked in Grapevine, that's a great commute if you stay off 114. Coppell and Valley Ranch/Las Colinas are densely populated and have large employers & not too far; but the traffic flow can get bad.

Gee, Carevy, doesn't it seem that the hospitals, CVS, Walgreens, Kroger and Wal-mart hire all the pharmacists??? First thing I'd do is look at their websites to learn about jobs that are available and the application process. Never hurts to stop in and ask the store manager at the retail places (with a hard copy of your resume in hand, too). You will probably be told to go thru the regular channels but it never hurts to have a face-to-face if you can get one. Great thing about retail is transparency to hiring managers.

Medco has a big mail order processing pharmacy near 360 and 183 just west of DFW Airport. They always need pharmacists. Most hospitals are also always looking for a pharmacist, even if it is just PRN. Also start looking on LinkedIn for DFW area pharmacists, and ask them who knows of an opening.
