Ive seen people like set up shop at a lake (Joe pool lake) or event but I dont recall ever seeing moving service from the back of a truck...I do know back in the day when I was little Traders Village use to have tons of tail gaters with there BBQ pits jaming Marvin Sease and Johnnie Taylor.

Compared to the rest of the metropolitan area, traveling BBQ is definitely hood. I actually have seen it in small town Texas, now that I think about it.

This aint hood...this is quite common but if we are talking about regular barbeque pits now that is hood...

Not common in the suburbs. I've never seen that in Plano. But I have seen that kind of pit tied to the back of a pickup truck rolling through South Dallas or South Houston.
