Default Texas Skyline Ratings: Waco

Waco

Ok, maybe not the greatest skyline in the world... not even for a town its size. But Waco does have some old school charm. Of course, it's nothing without the Alico Building. It just wouldn't make the skyline if you didn't see
"Alico" in big red letters when you cross the Brazos. There's plenty (and I mean PLENTY) of room for improvement and growth, but you just can't help but wonder what would be had the town not been hit by that massive tornado all those years ago....

Next Month: Tyler

I just put average. It's not ugly or bad necessarily. There just isn't much to it. And for a city Waco's size, there doesn't really have to be a whole lot to it.

We just did the same exact thread a few months back. Where were you?

This should be closed for duplicate threads.

What are you talking about?

I do this exact same thread every month for all Texas cities (with skylines). I've been doing it since last April....

The 1st and 4th pics are ones I took a couple years ago. Where did you snatch them from?

The skyline gives Waco small town appeal. That is nice in a city of it's actual size.

Well you could also combine the Baylor skyine with downtown as well. I think Waco's skyline is much more appealing in person. Pictures just won't do it any justice.

I like this picture off Wikipedia though:

I just found these pics right off the net. A few of them were on City-Data already.... Those were the best I could find. But if you have better ones, feel free to post them.

And NO, this is not a joke. I do this every month. But I am running out of cities, so this may end in April.
