On cold nights we usually make a beef stew along with cornbread. Tonight, we made our own version of caldo Gallego, a stew recipe that my mother picked up from living in Spain. I'm about to brave the snow shower and near-zero temperatures to watch a movie with some hot chocolate at my girlfriend's house.
