What are the things you like/dislike about Texas? I love this state! Besides it being my home state, I love the cities, the diversity of the different regions and Bluebell ice cream among other things, lol. What I dislike are the brutal summers, which I still haven't gotten used to after living virtually my whole life here, and some of the close minded/backwards people in small towns.

The corruption, racism, and homophobia is out of control. It's mainly institutional. And it is everywhere.

Unfortunately that is a problem. Have encountered racism and homophobia myself.

Only thing I've run across that I don't like since moving here is the huge lines trying to change my address on my driver's license.
