I currently live in california in the mtns within walking distance to a lake.
I am looking to relocate to an area close to Ft Worth. I heard from other posts that Granbury is a good area??? I saw some new homes in the canyon creek II subdivision on christine drive. It has a HOA with a pool and lake with a boat ramp. The builder is C & E Custom Homes. Anyone have any info they can share with me?? What type of boats allowed on lake? is it a nice area??
is the builder a quality builder?? How far is the commute to the Stockyards??
Thanks

Might want to post this in the Fort Worth forum as there are a few people there that live in the area.

Not sure where you are at, but we recently moved from Northern California and have found quite a few lakes in the area that might fit the bill as well as Lake Granbury.

I have yet to get down to Lake Granbury, we are on the north side of Fort Worth, and understand that it is about an hour away from Fort Worth. I am about 15 mins north of the Stockyards.

You have a lot to chose from here!

Depending on where you live in Granbury, it is only about 20 -25 minutes from Ft. Worth. Could be a little longer if you live on the furthest side of Granbury. To the stockyards would probably be around 30 or so minutes.
