Default Bryan/College Station; Best of....

Howdy! I'm new to B/CS and am looking for some recommendations.

Need a:
hairdresser
nail tech (I have acrylic nails)
housecleaner who is honest
car mechanic who is honest

Also, we're putting in a swimming pool and any recommendations OR horror stories about particular pool companies would be appreciated.

Thanks!
Connor

Howdy -
Welcome to Aggieland!
I can help you with a few of those:
hairdresser - anyone at Zydeco 846-3299. I go to the owner, Kathy. They are on University Drive behind The Fox & The Hound. Several others there have cut my boys' hair, and they all do a good job.
mechanic - Sevcik's - I think they're on Longmire in CS. Long-time family-owned business.
pool company - Mobley's Pools - another long-time family business. Gary Mobley is the owner and his crews have worked for him a long time. They did our pool 5 years ago.

Sorry - I don't know of any nail techs because I play the piano and making stained glass is my hobby. Between those two, I have no nails!
House cleaners ? Best bet there is to ask around at work or your neighborhood.

Hope this helps.

Thanks TexasGal! I had visited with Gary Mobley a few weeks ago and he seems really upfront and honest. I think we're going to go with them.

Take care!
Connor
