Default Tyler and Paris

I have thought of moving back to Texas, but I have a strong feeling that Tyler and Paris area are humid? Am I right? Also I remember when I lived there last it seemed that the smaller towns were not friendly to outsiders, and so I am concerned about this. We had lived in San Antonio, Corpus, Laredo, and Canton with no problem, but they were bigger towns than Paris. Also being close to Oklahoma, does Paris and Tyler get tornadoes?

Tyler is not necessarily "close" to Oklahoma. I'd guess it would take one about 3 hours to drive into Ok.. It is a city of 80,000 and I doubt you'd be recognized as an outsider. Will BRB......gotta run!
