We are finally moving back home to Texas. We are looking at an older home near Fort Concho and downtown that has been completely renovated and has a whole lot of charm.

Can anyone tell me about the neighborhood? Is there a lot of crime (property or personal) there? Is it a good area for kids?

I would check out the Santa Rita neighborhood. Homes there are all slightly different with a large variety of sizes and prices from very reasonable to expensive.
