Yes, it is like south side chicago it is divide into southeast and southwest ok southeast is mostly black/hispanics and have major attractions on both side southwest is mostly indians/blacks/whites but still is dangrous.Now northeast and northwest and eastside are the best but Huston is the captial of the south.

hello. me and wife is Now in Arizona , I just came from another country and now we are planning to settle where which not have much Snow. but which we would like to live some greenary .also need Good school.
She is R.N( Registered Nurse) and am MACHINIST( Cnc machinist- cnc wire edm machining professional). so we would like to move where we can get job . if any one know which city good for us pls suggest also give some kind of idea what salary which we can get on our profession. both of us having 10 yrs experiance . and we wish to buy home where we wil move. . so if some body have living experiance in CALIFORNIA- ARIZONA- DALLAS/ HOUSTON then it was nice , but any one know about well about differant state and living could replay. becase in my mind california and dallas.

The Northern side of Houston is pretty bad as well regarding crime rates. However areas such as Kingwood, Atascocita, The Woodlands, and The Heights are fairly nice.

Houston is horrible. Tucson is great. Dallas is ok.

This is all just my personal opinion though.

Yes, how does TX treat their public employees? Looking at law enforcement agencies, TX seems to have as good of benefits as where I currently live, not sure about teachers though.

There's no union for teachers, and an emergency bill in the Senate just gave permission for districts to cut salaries and approve furlough days. I wonder if my mom is still going to keep voting GOP.
