Default Free RV Park in Dumas, TX

Just wanted to let anyone traveling to NM or CO that Dumas has a free RV park. Just get here early in the evening before it fills up!

Several smaller cities across Texas offer free RV parks to visitors, usually operated by the local chamber of commerce. Just call them before planning a trip and you could save some money.

Default Where is it?

My family and I will be passing through Dumas on our way to Colorado and would be interested in finding the free RV Park. Can you tell me where it is in Dumas?

Thanks

There are hundreds of towns in the US that have free municipal campgrounds, most densely concentrated in the northern plains states. This link shows quite a few of them:

The free RV park is on the west edge of town on Hwy 87. The entrance is right before you cross the RR tracks.
