Ok, I'm done and tired of talking about Houston and Dallas. I just don't care enough about Austin and San Antonio to talk about them, but I've been curious and love learning about the Med-Size cities around Texas.

Anyways, which cities offer the top for these categories: cost of living, scenery, quality of Life, attractions, jobs,growth/development progressiveness, diversity, amenties and more.

Denton should also be included in the list.

El Paso is a large city. It wouldn't be considered "mid-sized".

So suburbs don't count?

Plano, Arlington, Katy, Round Rock, etc. all have populations equal or greater to those on the list. But I guess they are considered suburbs of larger metro areas rather than separate cities.

if you're gonna add denton, might as well add irving, arlington, and even round rock. all are around the same size, or even larger.

anyway, on this list... i'd go with el paso. it's not even fair to the rest of the cities on it.

Round Rock is a polished newly developed suburb of Austin. Everything there has developed just within the past decade.

I consider Denton to be gritty in a way & its own city that is hard to put a finger on. Conservative in many ways, yet liberal in a sense. It always has been separate from D/FW.

It's fair to me considering I'd pick the majority of the cities on the list over El Paso. I wasn't going to throw it on here, but some people would probably ask why isn't it listed so I just went ahead.
