We are thinking about moving from Arizona to the Fort Worth area with are three small children .Can anyone please tell us what areas to absolutely avoid and which areas/sububs are great to live in ei. schools, low crime. family oriented communities . I would be working in fort worth . It's so confusing all these different independent school districts...is Fort worth a good place? or should we think about keller or plano or grand prairie or frisco or what ????? so many options. thanks for your help.

Grapevine-Colleyville is a great suburb with superb public schools and easy access to Fort Worth. Highly recommend it. Keller is okay too. Public schools in FW not good after elementary; many put kids in private or move to suburbs for junior/senior high . Other suburbs you mentioned would be very difficult commute, except grand prairie which I would avoid.

Default moving to fort worth area!!!!

Hi, ! I live before in Arizona , Scottsdale, wich its my favorite place in America, we move to Massachuetts, never got use to and now we just move to Texas, , because you name I guess you are french, my husband its from Montreal Quebec, and we speak french at home, any way just to let you know that we bought a house in Keller, next to Fort Worth and we love it here!! if you wana check the comunity of HERITAGE IN KELLER, its awsome, the schools are great, the comunity has incredible amenities for kids, pools, mini water park, tennis courts, paths, basquet ball court, field for soccer and next year a big gym ,for only 22 dolars a month!! We meet people from diferent countries , very relaxing and safe area for the kids and the weather its not extreme as is in arizona, the nights are cold and the days warm , the summer was very hot like in Arizona, still dry but less.
Since its growing so much everything its new, and not to far we live very close to rt 377 and 35 easy acces to higway, airport and shopping, still yet we have cows in the backyard by the green belt of the comunity , the kids ride their bike to school!and the price of the houses are really afordable .
good luck!!!
