Then you're going to have to look at clusters of adjacent zip codes, or maybe even federal census tracts.

Stone Oak in San Antonio and Lakeway in Austin are the best suburbs in the state.

Stone Oak is rather bland. The buildings are too far apart. There is no entertainment value or interesting restaurants there, it is waaaay to far from downtown, and the commute sometime is just crazy.

Stone Oak???? seriously??? Stone Oak is no match for the DFW or Houston Suburbs

those burbs are taking over the metroplex
What do you want us to? We can't annex them we never could annex Arlington it's in Tarrant County. Back then there were even more suburbs. Pleasant Grove, Oak Cliff, and Preston Hollow was a suburb of Dallas. We annex those cities.

In the 1890 there was a City called East Dallas. We annex them too.

There's so many cities that Dallas annexed over the years. I cannot remember the rest. If those cities existed today, I don't think Dallas would have a population over 1 million. Heck, Oak Cliff alone has a population of 400,000.

We could have annex Highland Park and University Park but the city of Dallas didn't want to. Those cities wanted Dallas to annex them. A couple of years later the city wanted to annex Highland Park and University Park. They refused so the city annexed the land around Highland Park limiting future growth. (That was smart)

Here's the available land that the city of Dallas can annex. The city limits is in red and the vacant land is in black.

Stone Oak is a good size suburb probably around 40K and it does have some great dining options.
