Default health care in midland & odessa

Hi,
I have just graduated from dental school and owe ample amount of student loans... I have a job offer in the Midland/ Odessa area. Since I do not live there, I have a lot of uncertainties. I need to find out if there are opportunities for me out here so that I am able to make a living while paying off my loans...Would you please let me know the types of dental insurance people typically have if they are working individuals? such as HMO or PPO? Are there people who have Medicaid coverages? how easy is it to visit your dentist? Do you have to wait along time to get the appointment. I would appreciate any feedbacks.
Thank you.

I don't think HMOs and PPOs have a big presence in the area. I may be wrong though.

I don't have any trouble getting in to see my dentist, but I have been going to the same place for years and they know that if I have to wait for more than 15 minutes then I will just leave.
