Default Looking for public health nursing job in Canyon/Amarillo

I'd love to find a public health nursing position in Canyon/Amarillo area. I've been an RN for 15 years. Hospital nursing has never been my forte. I've done it, but don't really want to again. I've always thought Hospice would be very rewarding - any thoughts for someone who has never done it before. I'm making about 50,000 now and sure hate to take less. How do you get into nursing in a correctional facility? Sorry, I'm rambling. I've never done a forum before. Thanks for any suggestions.

Would you consider New Mexico? Wife is the Health Services Director at a small Navajo reservation in central N.M. Look on NM map find Magdalena NM the rez is 30 mi. N.W. She's always on the lookout for qualified professionals, don't believe salary will be a issue. Did I mention benefits out the wazoo, paid Ins.,no weekends/nights,paid sick leave, paid personal days, paid moving expenses, matching 401 fund etc. [/mod]personal info[/mod]
