Happy for y'all. Only 102 here today (as opposed to 108 yesterday).

66 degrees at 12 noon today. Nice. The high is only going to be in the 80's.

Wow...58 degrees this morning! It'll get back into the 90s in a few days, but it's a good sign of things to come. We've had 68 days of 100-degree weather this summer in DFW, and I hope we don't have any more. (The record from 1980 is 69 days, and I hope it stands.)

I normally enjoy the summer but this summer was brutally hot, even too hot for me! I'm certainly glad to have these cooler temps. It's only 82 degrees right now here in Abilene and the highs are supposed to stay in the mid 80's the rest of this week. That's perfect weather IMO! Now if we can just get some rain that would be really nice.

It's still a little warm in the afternoons, but after this summer, I shan't complain. I actually went to the park yesterday.
