Default Possible relocation to Laredo

My husband has been offered a job in the Laredo area. But I have some big concerns about living there, I've lived in L.A., Dallas, Las Vegas. But I'm worried about crime, housing and medical. Yes I know I will get answers from people who hate it there. But I would like some honest answers.

Thanks
