I voted for Lufkin because the city has brought in alot of major retailers just in 2011 with the new expanded H-E-B,another location of Walgreens on the east side of town,Hometown mattress which the nearest location is Shreveport,la or Houston,tx,Carl lewis hambuger joint which is a east coast thing,Buffalo wild willies which is a sports bar,IT'S fashion metro carmike cinema 12 and several others retailers. The city of 35,000 have ammenities of a city of 50,000 plus with Kmart,Belks,JCPennys,Bealls,Belks,Targets,Ross,Sam 's,Hobbylobby,Conn's
Bestbuy,Citi trends,Old Navy to name a few.The city is holding to the Highest traffic count in a specific area on the southside which is 49,000ppl.
Which is higher then any in Tyler,tx which is east texas largest city. The city also update local highways there with the US Hwy 59 expansion that was completed to accomodate traffic on the south end.The city has the only small city mixmasture in east texas. You would have to go to Dallas,Shreveport,Houston,Beaumont to find a impressive intersection like it .The city has a bright future in store for it the Chamber of Commerce say.

Longview, only grew 5,000 in the last 10 years, and annexed part of that. Tyler, 11,900 at least, no annexation. Final figures are out. But we're both off topic at hand. lol

But last traffic counts I saw, some years ago, were in the 40,000 - 45,000 on certain sections of streets around town, not intersections which would maybe double the number?
