The Houston Texans are 6-3 and because they play in the Division II AFC South they are primed for their first division title as well as first playoff appearance ever. Good for Houston. Diehard fans south as those who live in a city that feels like the inside of someone's mouth should be rewarded with a playoff game every now and then.
Houston should have playoff NFL football for the first time since 1993. That was the season Jack Pardee and Warren Moon led the Oilers to a 12-4 record, which resulted in a 28-20 division playoff loss to Joe Montana and the Chiefs back on Jan. 16, 1994.

But despite this new, cute success by the Texans they are still not any bigger than what is right now an average Dallas Cowboys professional football team.

According to the Houston Chronicle, the only places in the state where you can watch the Texans/Bucs game will be KHOU in Houston, KFDM in Beaumont, KBTX in Bryan-College Station and KXTS in Victoria.
Every other CBS station in Texas will carry the Cowboys game instead.

Why should they be so disrespectful of Houston's success? They have a good team down there this year and vey well could be the AFC rep in the SB if they keep it up. I say more power to them.

Why is that so strange? They are 6-3; that's a pretty good record. I've got no skin in this game, I'm not a cowboy fan.

The Texans haven't even made a playoff appearance in the history of the franchise and they play in the weakest division in football....They won't be representing the AFC in the superbowl.

The Ravens currently are first in the AFC....I will say well done to the Texans only if they win the Super Bowl....I expect a short lived playoff run for the Texans....Too bad nobody cares about the Texans little cute success statewide...
