Look just south in the Northcliffe/Scenic Hills subdivision right of IH35 and 1103. If you stay inside Comal County, you're kids will be going to Comal ISD schools and the teachers are amazing! The housing ranges from low $100s to $150k and were built right if mine was any indication. There are a few here that are older and have foundation problems but most of these are in the Guadalupe Cty side. It's a quick jump on 35 to Schertz or New Braunfels and you're maybe 15 minutes from all shopping short of Cabelas (45 minute drive). This area is primarily active/retired military and the best caliber of people you'll find! The SA attractions (Sea World, Six Flags, Riverwalk) are all around 45 min to an hour depending on traffic, but the best things in TX aren't these. Your a quick back highway to Wimberley for the Market Days once a month. A little farther out is Llano for some of the best BBQ around and Mason for Blue Topaz panning. If you like hiking, Guadalupe and Pedernales State Parks are a quick drive as well.

PS, Can you tell how much I miss this area. Moving to Wisconsin was one of the worst decisions of my life!

I was born and raised in Wisconsin but I may soon get the pleasure of moving to the SA area if the people at the hospital want me to work for them anyway!!!!
