Dallas traffic in general is that bad, in my opinion Houston's is much worse. DC is a total nightmare I'm just glad I don't have to drive through that anymore.

There is congestion, but it's a breeze compared to NY and DC. The Springfield interchange in northern VA is congested pretty much all day and evening. Just beach traffic in NY alone is insane... the Long Island Expressway can back up for 60 or 70 miles.

There are so many highways in Dallas, and so many alternate routes on secondary roads... it's wonderful. Back east the roads were more of an afterthought in a lot of the big cities, which is why Boston had to dig under the city to expand.

Yes, but why did they include Brownsville? Did they really mean to count the entire Rio Grande Valley (including Harlingen and McAllen)??

And good grief, they even counted Beaumont. They certainly have less than 500,000 people.
