Default Would Like to Relocate

My husband and I are considering relocating. We are not quit sure if we want to go South or North of the Houston area. We are currently Southeast of Houston. I would like to live somewhere where the cost of living isn’t high, small-medium sized towns. I would also like a place that is real children orientated with lots of outside activities. Any suggestions?

Justlooking82 - are you looking for a REALTOR? Or a suggestion to the areas? I currently live in League City which is south of Houston by about 25 miles and I love it here. This is the Clear Lake Area of Houston (which you may already know of) and I have lived here since moving here from California in 1988. My brother and his wife moved from California to League City this year and now my other brother wants to move here as well. The schools are good, the crime is low and the taxes aren't bad "IF" you watch where you're moving to. Some areas have MUD/PID/PUD taxes and some areas do not.
