The Leaning Water Tower
We mentioned Groom earlier. They also have that leaning water tower. It's also part of Route 66's legend back in the day. If you think about it, it's quite a sight if you ever get to go out there. Kind of a comic take on the Leaning Tower of Pisa in Italy. But only in Texas can you have something like this.

For a serious entry, I nominate the Missions of San Antonio -- the Alamo, Mission Concepción, Mission San José (with its Rose Window), Mission San Juan and Mission Espada.

San Antonio Missions National Historical Park (U.S. National Park Service)
For a not so serious entry, a stature that I have always remembered from when I was a teenager. We went to see my uncle and his family while he was heading up a construction project in Crystal City. The official mascot of Crystal City was Popeye the Sailor.
I've got to tell you he (Popeye not my uncle) looks much better today with his fresh coat of paint than he did all those years ago.

A Big Pair of Glasses
How about a replica of the huge pair of glasses Buddy Holly used to wear, located in front of the Buddy Holly Museum in downtown Lubbock?

The Alamo...cradle of Texas liberty.
Others are the UT tower in Austin and Reunion Tower and the Chase building in Dallas.
