Default Who has the best BBQ in the Midland/Odessa area?

My sister and her family is coming to visit over the 4th of July and my brother in law wants great BBQ. I'm a vegetarian so I have no clue where to take them. What do you all recommend as the best BBQ in Midland or Odessa?

Thanks!!

I agree with KD's as well. I need to go back to Midland just for an eating vacation. BBQ at KD's, a Pizza Snack at Luigi's, nachos and a margarita at La Bodega, salad and CFS at Wall Street, a breakfast burrito at Jumburrito, so many good things.

La Bodega was terrible the last time we ate there (over 5 years ago). I don't know what happened to them!

Wall Street B&G always good!

My all-time favorite remains Tampico's on Wall Street, and that's the first place I'm going if I ever go back to Midland.

Is Johnny's BBQ still downtown, or did they go out of business?

last time I went to Sam's (admittedly many years ago) it was horrible.
The last time I went to La Bodega was almost 4 years ago, and it was just the same as always. It was like we'd never moved away. We ran into several different people we knew and everything.

I think I heard Johnnies was gone, but I might be confusing it with somewhere else. They always had the coldest beer in town.

Nothing like an icy cold beer (with ice chips floating in it) to wash down a great meal!
