Yeah, fellow Texans, it is Sunday and time for a new poll. I ain't done one in a while! *smiles in rhyme!

Anyway, we just got back from East Texas the other day and yeppers, it is the season of the produce stand...and I got a cravin'...

Okra!

Closely associated are "black-eyed peas" (also known as "Texas Caviar"), but I don't think (at least in my worthless opinion), that fried okra always gets its proper due.

Sooooooo? Here is the poll, and there are multiple options. That is, you can vote on more than one choice. And yes, please comment all ways possible!

God Bless Texas!

I love fried okra the most. But canned is good, stewed, in gumbo, and pickled cold is excellent too.

I'm not too partial on regular okra, but I love my fried okra.

Okra in gumbo is excellent too.

I prefer fried okra, but it's good mixed up in stuff, too - though not fried for the purpose.
