Default Victoria/Cuero

We are a 28 year old couple from Arkansas possibly relocating to the area. We just wanted to know about the towns and/or safe places to live. I realize there have been previous discussions, but most likely each town has changed in the past year. Your help will be appreciated.

High Crime, High Unemployment, Seems to have high ratio of sex offenders too. Not the most robust city for anything white collar. My wife was from around that area and I'm from Georgetown, TX. HUGE HUGE HUGE diff's. Also just so you know eating fancy there is eating at the Olive Garden.

No where to live currently in Cuero due to all the fracking and stuff going down there. Had a transfer down there with my job, but turned it down because there was little to no choices in places to call home.
