Default Future Interstates...maybe?

Ok, I found this off the net.....

..... few things.

- As we all know, I-69 is already in progress, but incomplete here.
- "I-47" would be I-45 extended. Pretty sure we could all agree on that one.
- That little triangle that forms with "I-31" and "I-44" seems wrong. I'd push 31 through Abilene up to Amarillo.
- I think that 37 extention should go straight to Lubbock.
- Not really feelin' the I-27 idea. I think it should extend, but not all the way down the Rio Grande.
- I'd love the "231" just on a personal level. (It would make that drive from Waco to Prairie View just a little easier...)

Any other thoughts?

Living in the Dallas area, the only one I'm likely to ever use is I-47, which seems to follow US-75. I'm unimpressed; we really don't need any more interstates IMHO.

There should be an interstate on 79 from Shreveport to Round Rock.

U.S. 79 is a terrible road.

Don't you mean I-44? San Angelo, as far west as it is, IS still in Texas, not California, right?

I-10, I-35 and I-45 make up the Texas Triangle boundaries, what does I69 do to that?

Is it now the Texas Parallelogram?
From Houston to Corpus- 69
Corpus to SA- 37 (not quite 35, but hey it turns into 35)
SA to Dallas- 35
Dallas to Houston- 45

Maybe not, but don't tell that to TexDOT....

Besides, it's going to happen someday. I-69 is already in progress. The rest of those are still on the drawing board, but don't be surprised if you see them coming.
