And Dallas DOESN'T have any suburban growth going on?

Like I said, you make it seem as if Fort Worth is nothing but suburban houses and strip malls, but it's not. That's what someone who only spends 5 minutes in the city and the rest of the time on the interstate would say.

There ARE urban neighborhoods in Fort Worth that are growing and developing. But you just don't want to see that because of the typical smug "Dallatude".

I never understood the whole Dallas vs Houston thing. Both cities have more in common than they have differences.

unfortunately for you multiple "facts" from that video were wrong, so every statement in the video now lacks credentials.
Houston gets the most annual visitors per Texas city, at over 30 million. San Antonio comes in second, at right around 30 million. DFW comes in third. last i checked third was not first. but maybe thats how it works in Dallas?
and DFW combined only has 18 fortune 500 companies. how could Dallas have 24?

This thread may need revisiting if the plans for The convention center in Houston become reality. With two hotels opening up right beside the convention center along with plazas with retail and restaurant spaces, this could become a destination for Houstonians and people wanting to hold their convention there. Not to mention light rail will be up and running.
