Default Texas senate seat - Ted Cruz (R) vs Paul Sadler (D)

First question...
After all the media coverage of the Republican primary won by Ted Cruz
Why isn't there absolutely any coverage about the Texas senate seat now?

I bet most people think that Ted Cruz already won it.

Pretty much all of the media says that Cruz will likely win in November.

Hopefully that will be the case, I'll be voting for him regardless.

HUH? Why would a run-off between two Republicans make anyone think "that's all, folks"?

Duh, that just determined who was going to run against the Democratic opponent for the seat in November. If anyone is dumb enough to think such a thing, then by golly, they really need to reinstate the poll tax, this time to weed out the super duper dummies.

Good luck finding an article that talks about "Ted Cruz chances of beating Paul Sadler"

Hate to let all the hot air out your Democrat baloon, but Ted Cruz is the next Senator from the great state of Texas. For a liberal Demo to run for a state-wide race is tantamount to suicide.

I don't think even the Dallas Observer would get that far out on an edge.

It's too bad all of the radicals are ousting the more moderate Republicans.

That's fine
but why is the media in San Antonio, Austin, Dallas and Houston not talking about it?

To me it shows a Republican bias.

There's no media coverage because there's no campaigning going on! Is either candidate having rallies that aren't getting coverage? I doubt it, because the general election's almost 3 months away. Now's the time when they're quietly raising money, planning events and preparing for their respective national conventions.

The conventions are going to steal all of the oxygen from media coverage of Senate races, because the conventions are where most of the state's prominent members of each party are going to be.

Just sit back and wait for the conventions to start in a couple of weeks. You'll see all the coverage you ever wanted.
