Question Schools Copperas Cove vs. Lampasas vs. Belton

We're thinking about moving either to Kempner or Belton next Summer. I've done a little research on the schools, but I'd like more input from someone who either has or had their kids in one of the above schools or teaches there. I have one starting 4th and one starting 9th grade next summer, so I'll be dealing with all levels. How did you like the schools, how do they compare to each other, academically, how's the communication between the schools and parents etc. etc. any input will be helpful!!! Thanks in advance

I live in Kempner and absolutely LOVE the Lampasas schools. I believe the TAKS tests results may be better at Cove schools- BUT the teachers at the Intermediate (where your 4th grader would attend) were wonderful. I have one in the jr high now also and have been well pleased as well. They really reward good grades more than sports. I have went to help chaperone dances and seen more adults than kids (every parents dream, LOL)

We are being relocated due to job, but I would gladly come back! The housing area is very reasonable as well. If you are looking for info in Kempner specific please email me & I will try to help. Cherie
