You would be more likely to see it in Fort Worth or San Antonio or even Houston (oilmen) than Dallas.

By the way, your the OP. Why are you answering your own questions? Are you making stuff up?

Ok, if that's the case, there is nothing country whatsoever about the city of Dallas. Fort Worth is pretty country, but it works for them. It's a style they wear well and with pride. Dallas and its bordering suburbs are not even a little bit country.

I love how people are so disgusted with the cowboy culture; they just ignore and push it aside as if it's some type of STD.

The cowboy culture is very much involved in Texas culture and you'll find it everywhere [sorry Houstonians and Dallasites].

It shouldn't been see as something that cheapens or ruins a cities image. It just goes to show that in Texas many cultures can co-exist.

Just how familiar are you with southern Dallas County?

I don't think it the cowboy culture or Texas accent people are disgusted with but when people see image of Texas they see the past and country like and conservative like. I understand there is lots of people moving to Texas and big urban cities and times are changing but the media and image is still very much of the past .

If I was to move to Texas I would not want stick out like I'm some one not from there .I seen many of the accent tags on youtube and the young people dress very casual and don't have much of accent.

I think many young people in Texas try hard to give image they are from LA or some thing and not from Texas .

I was reading out of all the cities in Texas that Fort Worth and Houston have the strongest accent. And Houston is more liberal city.

OK, when I lived in Fort Worth my co-workers and I all wore business clothes and no cowboy gear. One of my colleagues did date a guy for a while, below her professional and educational level, who affected western gear and they would go country-western dancing, something that for her ceased as soon as they broke up. I don't think most of Fort Worth is really very cowboy. That's largely an historic artifact that the city maintains, but which is a rather superficial image. Most of it today is for the tourist trade and a rather small group of Texana enthusiasts. But the image projected is certainly very different to Dallas, as has always been the case.
