His parents moved from Kerrville to College Station to be closer to him while he's at A&M. If he needs more life-coaching than that, I'm afraid he's a lost cause!

If A&M didn't lose any games then they would be in the BCS. So no they don't deserve it this year. I take it everyone's a Aggie fan here....LOL.

When your two losses are against a team Clemson beat and a team that Louisville took to the wood shed, you don't belong in the national title conversation.

I wouldn't say I'm a fan, but as a Longhorn I've always had a healthy respect for Aggies, A&M, and Aggie fans. I always tried to keep the rivalry friendly. I like A&M's spirit and their traditions; we had nothing like that at UT. The Aggies have a sense of community both on campus and as alumni that UT lacks.

??? What did Mike Sherman do in Nov 2011 that upsets you so much?

True. But they did beat one of the teams in the NC game. At their field. With a freshman QB.

OU - with a month to prepare, looked like a high school defense against A&M in the Cotton Bowl. I wasn't at the game unfortunately, but I hear the place was electric.

A&M woud easily win the National Championship if they were in it. I'm excited for all the Aggie fans and hope they have even more to celebrate next season.

I may be a little off on the date but... I am a UH alum. Sumlin was interviewing with at least 5 schools including ATM the week before, and -including the day of- UH's conference championship game with a potential BCS bowl berth on the line.

Anyway, the aggies are scary good this year, and for once I am actually glad there isn't a playoff this year. The aggies got better and better as the year progressed. I am convinced they could beat anyone this year if we had a playoff instead of a popularity contest.

Hmmm.....well Sumlin was a super-hot commodity at the end of his time at UH. He did a great job there. And his quality seems very very real - considering what he did with a so-so team at A&M in its first year in the SEC.

I'm a UH alum also and i'm glad Sumerlin got the opportunity to coach at A&M. He did a remarkable job this year and has a stellar recruiting class coming in. The Aggies should not be playing for the NC this year due to the two losses they have. I do believe they will be making a run in the near future.
