That's interesting to know... I know Vermont is heavily liberal, but has a small population.

there is no rational reason that rednecks and liberals can't figure out better economies than those based on nature-rape. evolve before it's too late!

Well since you clearly have no evidence it's pointless to argue with a brick wall. (generally the burden of proof would be on the party making asinine accusations)

Taking it back on topic, Ive done an analysis on different ethnic groups in both cities and metro areas in Texas based on the most recent numbers. Included are Indians and Vietnamese since those are (by far) the largest Asian groups in Texas. Ill do one on the Chinese as well at some point. All cities over 5k will be listed. Enjoy!

Texas Indian population: 245,981

Indian by metro area:

DFW: 100,386
Houston: 91,637
Austin: 21,107
San Antonio: 8,764

All others were less than 5,000.

Indian population by city proper:

Houston: 23,503
Plano: 21,917
Irving: 18,889
Austin: 15,279
Sugar Land: 11,906
Richardson: 7,138
San Antonio: 7,112
Dallas: 5,978
Frisco: 5,018

All others were below 5k.

Do you know what a troll is? The poster I quoted posted a comment that was attempting to invoke a response even though it was way off topic. It's kind of surprising since that poster generally adds a lot of good information to other threads.

Those numbers looks pretty inline with the perception form around San Antonio. San Antonio has a large Indian population on the north west side that is clustered near USAA and the South Texas Medical Center. It makes since that they live in that area since it is the most pedestrian friendly (with amenities) part of the metro area.

It seems like the most satisfied and fulfilled Texas residents are native Texans, those from neighboring states (OK, LA, AR), and transplanted Midwesterners.

Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Enjoy the overpriced housing in the "mancamps", -40 winters, and lack of anything to do or see. Williston will boom for a while, then bust and the people will leave as quickly as they came.
