Default Texas Music Radio Station

From the official Texas Tourism website, you can listen to a radio that plays only Texas music:

"Texas music is as unique and wide-ranging as the people who inhabit this great state. It's country, western, rock and roll, Tejano, blues, jazz and gospel. Sometimes all rolled into one. But more than anything, Texas music is what the Texas musician decides it should be. For proof, check out our Featured Artist. And remember, we'll be featuring different Texas musicians throughout the year. "

To listen to the music, click on the TEXAS RADIO icon on the top right hand side of the page: Texas Music

Wow, thanks for this! I thought that the Lone Star station in Dallas when it was revamped earlier this year would only play Texas music but it doesn't. It shouldn't call itself Lone Star radio!

I don't imagine that they would play Texas soul and hip-hop.

Turk is on a distinguished road
Another option is RadioFreeTexas. They playing mostly small time artists, focusing mainly on the Texas Country/ Red Dirt Genre.
Not sure if its ok to post the link, but its not really a commercial site because its free to listen. But I'll put it up. If its not, a mods will take it out and I understand...

Radio Free Texas - Texas Independence For Your Ears!

Another option is on KILT 100.3FM on sunday nights Leslie T Travis puts on a show called Texas Roadhouse. All Texas Artists... Sundays 7pm - 12 (Central). It can be listened to over the net, she talks about listeners around the nation often...
Her Blog:Leslie T's Texas

Just some other options for those wanting some Texas Country....
