Hey guys, im extremely excited about my big move to Texas. However, my first day is going to be a little stressful. I need to.purchase a cheap, used vehicle. I can go the craigslist route, but im nervous about unreliability and shady car history, and not having any sort of guarantee. I was wondering if anyone here knew of any reliable used auto dealerships in either Odessa or Midland that have a good reputation, and also a warranty for their vehicles if possible. Looking to spend about $3,000-$4,000, maybe $5,000 with lower miles/good condition. Thanks a lot. Really appreciate the help.

When we lived out that way, we bought our used vehicle from Sewell Ford in Odessa. The car was a year old when we bought it. They had very good customer service back then. Sorry I don't have their number any longer. It's been a while. Our salesman was Aaron Galindo. I googled the dealership and Google has 31 reviews on Sewell Ford. Most of them seem to be good ratings.

I see along E 8th St. in Odessa that theres tons of car dealerships. Anybody here have any experience dealing with any of the used car dealerships along 8th St? Again, looking to preferrably spend $3,000-$4,000, or $5,000 or so for good condition. Tjanks again.

Yes, I remember there were dealerships back-to-back (actually side-to-side would be more accurate) on E 8th Street. After talking with sales personnel at several of the lots, Sewell is the one we decided to use. They provided a warranty, they offered free oil changes at the facility right across the street from the used car lot. Sorry I can't be more help.

Good luck.
