I actually think it's much easier for a woman. A dark pair of skinny jeans with heels looks far more dressy than any way a man could possibly wear jeans.

Wranglers, cowboy boots, and cowboy hats are extremely common to see around east Texas. And hey...they CAN look absolutely delicious on a man (and I guess a woman too for that matter).

Just so you know!

My husband doesn't wear a cowboy hat, but he does wear Wranglers and George Strait shirts when he's "dressing up." (Often with very nice cowboy boots and one of his several BEAUTIFUL very lightweight leather sport coats or jackets).

When he's not wearing shorts and a T shirt!

I really like that "dressy cowboy" look on some men. Not all men can pull it off but when they can - yummy!

Are you sure you live in DFW?

I'm sure of it. That's my observation for where I live as well.

That you're an unofficial alum of the University of Texas until proven otherwise.

It seems like half the population of people and cars in this state sport UT logos and/or colors.

Me too, Nairobi; Aggies seem to have a lot more pride.

I bet you most of the people wearing UT shirts/logos didn't even go there, or didn't graduate. I graduated from UT-Austin and I make that clear when I tell people where I went to school. Due to UT's abysmal retention rate, many matriculate but less than half graduate in 4 years.
