So what do people from, San Antonio, Austin, El Paso, the rest of Texas and beyond think of all these endless Dallas vs Houston threads. It seems that just about every thread turns into one and quite honestly it can get pretty tiring even as a Dallasite. I gotta say that I do enjoy it however most of the time. What do you make of it?

this should be interesting... (sits back with bucket of popcorn).

agreed, it can get pretty old. both cities are fantastic, Dallasites should be proud of their city and not feel the need to try and compete with their big brother.

Born in Katy with several family members from Waller and Harris County, growing up in Fort Worth (not as big a deal to us but we still hear it), and going to PVAMU where it seemed the majority of students there were either from Houston or Dallas, I got that soooooo many times... to the point of being completely numb to it.

I was born in Houston (on Jack St.) in the Montrose area in 1943. I now live in a small town in the mountains of Arkansas but there is no other big city that I would rather live in than Houston.

Dallas is actually much larger than Houston even though its population is only twice that of Dallas. So, they bicker. By bicker, I mean Houstonian's bicker. The people in Dallas have no doubt whatsoever that they are the ones who live in the superior city.

alright lets get down to the root... a free counseling session.

Do you have a history of mental illness in your family?
Were you molested as a child?
Did your father or mother abandon you?
Did you have a sibling you were really jealous of?

Fill out the information and your diagnosis will be ready within 24 hours.

hahaha. no Houstonians are just tired of people like Binkyman who think Dallas is the superior city when in fact Houston is and will always be the #1 city in Texas. there is nothing wrong with being #2.. you should be proud your ahead of a larger city like San Antonio.

What city wouldn't be larger when it's over 400 sq mi. If Dallas was, it would have more people than San Antonio.
